Position: Junior Project Manager for EU-Funded Projects

Location: Home Office Based / Greece

Position Summary

The Junior Project Manager will assist in the management and coordination of projects funded by the European Union (EU). This role will involve working closely with senior project managers and project partners to ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget. The Junior Project Manager will also be responsible for supporting project reporting and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate project meetings and communication with project partners and stakeholders
  • Support compliance with EU regulations and guidelines, as well as project-specific requirements
  • Assist in monitoring project progress and reporting on outcomes to the EU and other funding agencies
  • Help identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Support the management of project documentation, including contracts, reports, and other deliverables
  • Foster collaboration and communication among project partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the context of EU-funded projects
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, management, engineering)
  • Proficiency in English (working language)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of EU regulations and guidelines related to project management and funding
  • Experience working with international partners and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello)
  • Proficiency in German
