Position: Project Manager for EU-Funded Projects
Location: Home Office Based / Greece
Position Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects funded by the European Union (EU). This role will involve working closely with project partners and stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget. The Project Manager will also be responsible for reporting on project progress and outcomes to the EU and other funding agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate and lead project meetings and communication with project partners and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with EU regulations and guidelines, as well as project-specific requirements
- Monitor project progress and report on outcomes to the EU and other funding agencies
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, reports, and other deliverables
- Foster collaboration and communication among project partners and stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the context of EU-funded projects
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, management, engineering)
- Proficiency in English (working language)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Knowledge of EU regulations and guidelines related to project management and funding
- Experience working with international partners and stakeholders
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello)
- Proficiency in German
